WP4: Network for Pulses from soft & hard Sources
This project proposes developing the network necessary for exchanging experience between the active institutions and individuals and for attracting new user communities. It is aimed at putting Europe in a world wide leadership position. This will be achieved by combining partners who are hitherto working independently but on related projects.
This network combining BESSY, DESY, MAX-lab, PSI, Elettra and Soleil as main partners will allow work on experiments performing resonant and non-resonant x-ray diffraction and absorption down to the fs-scale. This will for the first time prove the feasibility of the full range of time-resolved experiments in the soft- and hard x-ray range by connecting facilities all over Europe.
